  • Material Planner

    Job Overview:

    The Material Planning Manager ensures that the necessary raw and packaging materials are available to meet manufacturing production schedules without causing excess inventory or costly storage.  This role serves as an inventory expert for the team while maintaining a working knowledge of shipping & receiving, procurement, and operations practices. This role will manage processes related to the control and movement of supplies across organizations, including generation and processing of work orders and receipt of goods while maintaining food safety and quality assurance standards.

    Responsibilities:

    ·        Analyze production plans to determine material requirements (MRP) and ensuring timely/just-in-time delivery of materials to the manufacturing floor.

    ·        Maintain optimal inventory levels (safety stock)

    ·        Work with vendors to schedule deliveries, expedite orders, resolve shortages and maintain an accurate shipping and receiving calendar and monitor supplier performance

    ·        Coordinate material movements between vendors, warehouses, and the production floor.

    ·        Generate and stage work orders and other supporting material for blending based on weekly production schedules

    ·        Process receipt of goods in ERP system and compile documentation: work with procurement, shipping and receiving, suppliers/vendors and accounting departments to obtain needed paperwork and resolve issues.

    ·        Support End of Month and End of Year inventory duties including performing physical counts, entering work orders and receipt of goods, generating reports, and working with the Controller to troubleshoot inventory issues

    ·        Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce waste, and streamline material flow.

    ·        Develop, update and report results for Supplier performance scorecards.

    ·        Publish KPIs for inventory-related metrics (e.g., days on hand, forecast accuracy, production delays due to availability) and report on inventory variances to senior management

    ·        Coordinate production, engineering, and sales teams to align material availability with production capacity and new product launches.

    ·        Provide day-to-day leadership reflecting the core values of the Company.

    ·        Perform other duties as assigned

    General Requirements

    ·        Strong analytical/critical thinking, problem solving and communication skills with an ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing manufacturing environment, great attention to detail

    ·        Agility, foresight and proactive as changes occur in Operations and Supply Chain

    ·        Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Engineering or a related field/experience is preferred

    ·        1-3 years of professional experience in manufacturing planning, purchasing, or inventory control is preferred

    ·        Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., Sage, SAP, Oracle, JDA) and Microsoft Office particularly with advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups)

  • Machine Operator

    Job Overview:

    The Machine Operator is responsible for leading and operating a liquid bottling line in a food-grade co-packing facility. This role ensures safe, efficient, and compliant operation of filling, capping, and labeling equipment while meeting schedule requirements and food safety and quality standards. The Machine Operator also directs team members on the line, manages workflow, and supports continuous improvement initiatives.

    Responsibilities:

    Machine Operation & Production

    ·            Set up, operate, and monitor liquid filling, capping, and labeling machines.

    ·            Perform changeovers and equipment adjustments as needed.

    ·            Conduct routine quality checks on fill levels, seals, torque, labels, and date codes.

    ·            Complete basic production reports and maintain accurate documentation.

    ·            Communicate clearly about production status, issues, and needs.

    Line Leadership & Oversight

    ·         Lead a single bottling operation, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity targets are met.

    ·         Direct line employees, assign tasks, and maintain smooth workflow throughout the shift.

    ·         Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety policies, and quality protocols.

    ·         Serve as the point of contact between line employees and supervisors.

    ·         Foster a safe, positive, and collaborative work environment.


    Food Safety and Quality

    ·         Adhere to GMPs, HACCP, and company food safety standards.

    ·         Support sanitation and cleaning activities, including allergen control procedures.

    ·         Monitor for compliance with FDA, SQF, and regulatory requirements

    General Requirements

    ·         High School Diploma or GED

    ·         1-2 years previous machine operation experience preferred

    ·        Ability to manage workflow, meet deadlines, and stay calm under pressure.

    ·        Solid knowledge of SOPs, safety, and quality protocols.

    ·        Mechanical aptitude with ability to operate and adjust production equipment.

    ·        Attention to detail with labeling and capping

    ·        Ability to foster a culture of teamwork

    ·        Strong customer focused mindset

    ·        Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
